I have
had continuous, oftentimes excruciating pain in my lower back as well
as sciatic nerve pain in both legs reaching as far down as my ankles
and feet. This pain and discomfort have been debilitating to say the
least. It has prevented me from normal activities such as going to
the movies or long car rides and has impaired my work situation. In
truth, there is not one area in my life that has not been negatively
affected by the pain and discomfort that I feel.
I have
had two failed back surgeries; both discectomies for herniated disks
at the L4-L5 and L5-S1 levels. A short while after each surgery the
pain returned and worsened and I have been living with it ever since.
I have tried exercise and physical therapy, massage, trigger-point,
and even acupressure, but nothing has worked.
However,
after consistently seeing Dr. Franz last year, I have been able to
lead a much more normal life. Through his care, I have been able to
return to a quality of life that was previously unthinkable. It is
the only thing that has helped me after years of suffering and disappointment.

My main
disorder was my sciatica nerve. It was very painful in my left leg.
It lasted about one year with great pain. I occasionally took Advil
for the pain.
My daughter
encouraged me to see a Chiropractor. I knew I needed to start somewhere.
I had never been to a Chiropractor before, but had no doubts that
this was the way for me to go.
When
I first came to Dr. Franz, I felt I was in competent hands. He recommended
visits three times a week, then gradually two times and then 1 time.
I received a year of treatment even while on vacation.
Family
members also receive chiropractic care for their backs. My family
and myself feel chiropractics has helped us to be able to continue
to live a busy life. I am now back to walking and swimming and doing
regular chores, including gardening.
We have
told several of our friends and have recommended Dr. Franz to them.

Franz has been my primary health provider for 20 years. Through his
care, I've been able to avoid the hospital except when I broke both
legs. I've had various health problems, which have been under control
due to chiropractic treatments given by Dr. Franz. I thank God everyday
that he has led me to such a caring and capable doctor. Pain has been
minimal occasionally and I am pain free most of the time.
